To operate the tool, first loosen the sprocket nut, unscrew the bottom bolt on the chain tightening tool, and put the spring on the pin inside the tool. Then, replace the tightening bolt and remove the top bolt. Screw on the handle and lever, put the tool on the chain, and tighten the tool on the chain pin (this will pull the chain and pin out from the other side).

The heavy-duty blow-molded plastic carrying case, with its snap-in slots and open top, ensures that each part of the kit is securely stored and easily accessible, preventing the tools from rolling away when placed in a toolbox drawer.
